KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.326 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,129. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.097 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.767 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.592 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.110 billion), Silver (PKR 407.026 million), DJ (PKR 349.763 million), Platinum (PKR 311.526 million), Japan Equity (PKR 263.178 million), SP 500 (PKR 242.694 million), Natural Gas (PKR 163,807 million) and Copper (PKR 20.221 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 27 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 27.380 million were traded.
