ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to roll out the Track and Trace System to the cigarette manufacturers from November 1, 2021. According to sources, the Track and Trace System would also extend to cigarette manufacturing units located at the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In this connection, the AJK government had approached the FBR to extend the scope of track and track system to cigarette manufacturing units located at the AJK.
