KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.044 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,618. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.689 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.411 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.726 billion), Copper (PKR 1.322 billion), DJ (PKR 1.133 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 959.973 million), Silver (PKR 837.901 million), Platinum (PKR 589.137 million), Natural Gas (PKR 275.931 million), Japan Equity (PKR 78.353 million) and SP 500 (PKR 21.180 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.557 million were traded.
