KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.675 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,811. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.501 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.913 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.367 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.481 billion), DJ (PKR 996.283 million), Platinum (PKR 709.624 million), Silver (PKR 319.704 million), Natural Gas (PKR 168.775 million), SP 500 (PKR 129.619 million), Copper (PKR 78.909 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 9.003 million). In Agriculture Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.735 million was traded.
