KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.132 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,628. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.723 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.565 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.455 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.022 billion), DJ (PKR 665.046 million), Silver (PKR 549.426 million), Platinum (PKR 457.623 million), Copper (PKR 338.442 million), SP 500 (PKR 191.697 million), Natural Gas (PKR 160.210 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.520 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.696 million was traded.
