Outgoing Azerbaijan envoy pays farewell visit to COAS

RAWALPINDI: His Excellency Ali Alizada, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Pakistan Tuesday paid a farewell call to COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ, said Inter Services Public Relations in a statement.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security situation, including the Afghan Peace Process and measures to further enhance bilateral and defence cooperation were discussed. COAS thanked Ambassador for his services in Pakistan and acknowledged his contributions towards strengthening Pak-Azerbaijan relations.
