KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.346 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,409. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.078 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.334 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.298 billion), Silver (PKR 805.847 million), Crude Oil (PKR 737.879 million), Platinum (PKR 413.317 million), Natural Gas (PKR 303.789 million), DJ (PKR 205.238 million), Copper (PKR 72.867 million), SP 500 (PKR 49.976 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 45.397 million).
