ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Friday said that ninety-six percent temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) have been returned to their native towns after the restoration of peace in tribal areas.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan, he said efforts are underway to bring back the remaining TDPs from Afghanistan before June this year.
He said peace has returned to the region including Bajaur Agency after immense sacrifices rendered by the security personnel and tribal people.
Jhagra said the government was fully aware of the issues and problems of tribal people and taking measures in this regard.
