KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.131 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,676. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.038 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.966 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.344 billion), Silver (PKR 1.171 billion), Platinum (PKR 401.165 million), Copper (PKR 368.525 million), Crude Oil (PKR 357.582 million), DJ (PKR 310.875 million), Natural Gas (PKR 76.554 million), SP 500 (PKR 72.953 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 21.979 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 22 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 14.359 million were traded.
