KARACHI: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has resumed its flight operations between Lahore and Islamabad. The flight operation which was suspended due to the pandemic, has been resumed as the first flight PK650 left Lahore for Islamabad on Friday. Meanwhile, PIA spokesman said three flights have been scheduled in a week. A cake cutting ceremony was held at Lahore airport on resumption of flights between two cities where station manager Ali Asghar Zaidi and PIA staff saw off the passengers.
PIA spokesman said initially, weekly bilateral flights between Lahore and Islamabad will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
