KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.183 billion and the number of lots traded 6,343.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.404 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.543 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 839.828 million, currencies through COTS PKR 614.020 million, silver PKR 217.861 million, natural gas PKR 141.706 million, platinum PKR 139.721 million, copper PKR 132.699 million, crude oil PKR 76.661 million, SP500 PKR 64.518 million and Japan equity PKR 8.234 million.

In agriculture commodities, 8 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 4.391 million were traded.
