Digiskills Training project: IT Ministry attains target of one million enrolments

(Karachi) Ministry of IT and Telecom has attained the target of one million enrolments in Digiskills Training project, a tweet on government's official twitter handle stated on Thursday.

It stated, "The target of 1 Million enrollments in the Digiskills Training project have been achieved ahead of time." The government launched the digital training programme in collaboration with Virtual University’s time-tested LMS systems.

The whole project is funded by Ignite-National Technology Fund which is formally known as National ICT R&D fund. Since its inception, DigiSkills Training Program is equipping the youth of the country with free digital skills that are necessary to grab online job opportunities available internationally and locally.

The program comprises 10 courses including Freelancing, Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Graphic Design, Digital Literacy, e-Commerce Management, Creative Writing, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, and WordPress.
