LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, who is under treatment here at Services Hospital following chest infection, has started showing improvement in his health condition and he also tested negative for coronavirus on Saturday.
A team of doctors headed by Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) also examined him and suggested treatment. On Saturday, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid, Speaker Punjab Assembly and others visited Services Hospital to inquire about his health.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Adviser to Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan and Pakistan Democratic Movement Head Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman telephoned Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and inquired about Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s health. PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz also prayed for quick recovery of the elderly patient.
