Electricity bills: Lesco withdraws instalments facility

LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has withdrawn the facility of instalments in electricity bills to meet recovery targets across the region, said sources.

They said that notices have been placed outside the field offices of Executive Engineers (ExEns) and Sub Division Officers (SDOs) for general public, stating that facility of instalments in electricity bills has been withdrawn, causing widespread panic amongst consumers. Staff at the Central Customer Centre is denying the facility of instalments to consumers, who reach there from across the region.
