Butter Crunch

I recently came across Innovative Butter Crunch’s very intriguing advertisement whilst flickering TV channels and was a bit amazed by the fact that these biscuits were being marketed as “Impossibly Crunchy”. So during my next trip to the local convenience store whilst strolling down the confectionary aisle I stumbled upon them and was compelled to try these so called “Impossibly Crunchy” myself.

And since then there’s not been a single day without these delectable biscuits gracing my tea table in the evening. I was amazed at the fact that such a delicious and high quality product was being produced by a local brand.

These wholesome biscuits are made with very simple ingredients such as fine oats and pure butter, but taste like absolute heaven. They’re crunchy, light and just the right amount of sweet owing to the golden brown sugar crystals gently sprinkled on them. It’s the first time that I have tasted a recipe made from two very common ingredients result in something so uniquely crunchy that they are rightfully being marketed as being “Impossibly Crunchy”.

Not going to lie but their video commercial was right on point. If I were a princess being wooed by the Butter Crunch biscuits I would say ‘Yes’ on spot.

A word to the wise, do try Butter Crunch with a piping hot cup of tea or coffee or in a homemade dessert. Yes, you heard that right; during the lockdown I decided to wear my chef’s hat and be a little “innovative”(pun intended) with my favorite biscuits and created a few simple no-bake quick dessert recipes that I’d like to share with you.

If you have guests coming over and you’re feeling a little proper and festive Butter Crunch Custard Pudding should be your go to dessert. To make this classic recipe all you need is some homemade sweetened vanilla custard, Butter Crunch biscuits and chocolate chips. Layer a dish with a generous amount of crushed Butter Crunch biscuits leaving no corner uncovered, top it with a layer of vanilla custard repeat until you have about four clear layers of the same. Top the last layer of custard with chocolate chips and let your pudding freeze for about 2-3 hours for best taste. But, if your sweet cravings kick in during odd hours and you’re looking for a quick sweet fix or a bowl of comfort dessert then Nutty Butter Crunch is the right recipe for you. Get a big bowl and crush some Butter Crunch biscuits in it, add in your favorite fresh fruits and nuts along with some condensed milk, give it all a good mix and refrigerate the mixture for a while before you enjoy it. Feel free to experiment a little and do the impossible by creating your delicious recipes because Butter Crunch never fails to impress.

To sum it up Butter Crunch biscuits have been the most wholesome addition to my life in 2020 and have added some sweetness to this particularly difficult year.
