LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Ahmed Khosa has said that the best way to pay homage and tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam is to respect his teachings and act upon his principles of continuous hardwork and discipline
In his message, on the eve of the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Governor said that the Great Quaid was endowed with all qualities of a strong character and had an unshakable faith in the destiny of Muslims in the subcontinent.
He said that Quaid-e-Azam's commitment, preseverance and intellectual integrity won him adoration of all Muslims and respect from even those who opposed him.
He said that it was his inspiring and dynamic leadership that led Muslims of the Sub-continent to rise to overthrow the yoke of alien domination and establish a homeland for themselves.
The Governor said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had brought about a revolution which was unprecedented in history. He said the Quaid worked day and night and transformed the desparate Muslim masses into a united and irresistable force.
With his unshakable faith in the destiny of his people and supreme dedication to the Muslim cause, he ultimately defeated the combination of hostile forces and succeeded in achieving Pakistan, the Governor observed.
He said that the creation of Pakistan was the greatest living tribute to the sagacity of Quaid-e-Azam which earned for Muslims of the subcontinent freedom from exploitation and indignity.
"Let us rededicate ourselves this day to the cause of making Pakistan a truly welfare state and realisation of dreams of our ancesters and founding fathers," the Governor concluded.
