Rupee loses 5 paisas against US dollar
- In interbank trading, the price of euro depreciated by 36 paisas and closed at Rs. 193.14 against the last day’s trading of Rs. 193.50, State Bank of Pakistan reported.
ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee lost five paisas against US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs. 163.86 against the previous day's closing of 163.81.
Meanwhile, according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs. 163.6 and Rs. 164.4 respectively.

The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs. 1.55, whereas an increase of 06 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs. 213.55 as compared to its last closing of Rs. 213.49.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 02 paisas each to close at Rs. 44.61 and Rs. 43.68 respectively.
