ABUJA: Nigerian stocks rose 2.3% in early Tuesday trades to an eight-month high, extending gains for the 12th straight day as money market liquidity flowed into equities, traders said.

Local stocks climbed to 28,185 points by 0941 GMT, their highest level since Feb. 6.
