LAHORE: Out of 9,325 corona tests conducted during the last 24 hours, 129 fresh cases have been reported taking the provincial tally to 99,941. With recovery of 296 Covid-19 patients, the total number of recovered patients has reached 96,012. The total number of active corona patients in Punjab is 1689. In Punjab, 2240 patients have so far died due to Covid-19. In Lahore, so far, 867 people have died, 372 in Rawalpindi, 221 in Faisalabad, 148 in Multan and 77 in Gujranwala.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar said in a statement that no corona patient died during the last 24 hours in Punjab. The CM also appealed the citizens to follow corona SOPs to avoid any further spread of this virus.
