KARACHI: On Thursday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.857 billion and the number of lots traded was 15,295.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.786 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.280 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.220 billion, silver PKR 803.646 million, natural gas PKR 669.535 million, platinum PKR 504.230 million, DJ PKR 390.355 million, crude oil PKR 125.462 million, SP500 PKR 59.569 million and copper PKR 17.158 million.
In agriculture commodities, 4 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 18.197 million, 2 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 16.614 million, 3 lot of cotton amounting to PKR 6.461 million and one lot of corn amounting to PKR 3.030 million was traded.
