ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan apart from reviewing the problems of the metropolis is likely to make a big economic package announcement for Karachi during his visit on Saturday.

The PM will also announce measures in Karachi to be taken regarding the cleaning of nullahs, eradication of encroachment, solution of sewerage issues, provision of clean drinking water.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the major cause behind problems in Karachi is non provision of powers to the grass roots level.

He was chairing a meeting to review Karachi Transformation Plan in Islamabad on Thursday.

The PM said that the recent rains have badly affected the city and regretted that sewerage and other problems of the city were not resolved in the past.
