PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Thursday expanded his cabinet by inducting two more ministers in it.

The two ministers include a former senior minister in Pervez Khattak led KP cabinet, Shahram Khan Tarakai and the second Anwar Zeb was elected for the first time as member of the KP Assembly from Bajaur tribal district of the erstwhile FATA.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman administered oath to them in a ceremony held at the Governor House.

The ceremony was attended among others Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Minister for Finance Taimoor Salim Jhagra, Minister Labour Shaukat Yousafzai, Minister Law Sultan Muhammad, Minister Food Qalandar Khan Lodhi and Advisor to Chief Minister on Information Kamran Bangash.

Shahram Khan, kin of influential political family of district Swabi was sacked from the provincial cabinet during last week of February this year along with two other including Atif Khan and Shakeel Ahmad for alleged involvement in hatching conspiracy against Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. Two other members of Shahram Khan Tarakai family, Usman Tarakai and Liaquat Tarakai are members of the National Assembly and Senate respectively.

After administering oath to both members, the governor wished success in discharge of their respective responsibilities in the best public interest for them.
