KARACHI: On Wednesday, Pakistan Rupee largely remained unchanged in open market while slightly gaining value against USD in interbank market.
INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee gained 10 paisas for both buying and selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 165.50 and 165.70 respectively.
OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market, PKR remained unchanged for buying while gaining 50 pasias for selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 166 and 166.50 respectively.
Against Euro, PKR gained one rupee for both buying and selling over yesterday's rates closing at 197 and 198.50 respectively.
Against UAE Dirham, PKR remained unchanged for both buying and selling closing at 45.10 and 45.30 respectively.
Against Saudi Riyal, PKR remained unchanged for both buying and selling closing at 43.80 and 44.10 respectively.

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee moved both ways by 20 paisas against the greenback in the local currency market on Wednesday.
Amid divergent interest of buyers in the market, the greenback witnessed volatile trend as it moved both ways by almost 20 paisas and ended for buying and selling at Rs 166.20 and Rs 167.20 against the overnight closing rate of Rs 166.00 and Rs 167.40 respectively, local currency dealers said.
In addition, the rupee showed strength as it recovered its day earlier losses versus the pound sterling. As a result, the pound's buying and selling rates declined from the Tuesday's closing of Rs 221.00 and Rs 222.00 to Rs 220.00 and Rs 221.50 respectively, they added.
RUPEE IN ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI: The rupee gained 50 paisas against the dollar at the open currency markets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Wednesday.
The dollar opened at Rs166.50 (buying) and Rs 166.60 (selling) against last rate of Rs167 (buying) and Rs 167.10 (selling).
It closed at Rs166.50 (buying) and Rs 166.60 (selling).
The buying and selling rates of one tola of gold was Rs 121,400 (selling) and Rs121,000 (buying) in the local Sarafa (gold) markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
