PM approves Karachi related projects, says Umar

  • He said that he had talked to the Sindh government on projects and areas including water supply, sanitation, sewerage, transport, and roads.

Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that the Prime Minister has approved the projects related to Karachi.

Talking to a private channel Asad Umar said that the projects related to Karachi were approved by the Prime Minister and we shared the draft of these projects with the Sindh government. The minister said they hope to reach a unanimous decision in a few days.

He said that he had talked to the Sindh government on projects and areas including water supply, sanitation, sewerage, transport, and roads. Now he will talk about schemes within it.

Asad Omar said that the Prime Minister and his team wants to work on an emergency basis in Karachi, we are working with a spirit so that matters can be settled with the Sindh government as soon as possible and work on the ground can begin.

The Federal Minister further said that it is true that no work was done on the ground in Karachi. “If we really intend to take joint responsibility, there are many things to do in politics, there is political difference and politics will continue. There should be no politics on the rights of the people,” he said.
