PML-N to bring reforms in judiciary

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry Tuesday said reforms in judiciary system was need of the hour and Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) would bring mega constitutional reforms in this sector after wining general elections 2018.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the PML-N leadership had always worked for strengthening national institutions and struggled to provide speedy justice to masses.
The state minister said matter of missing persons should be resolved in a legal way, adding all the institutions should work under their constitutional domains.
Replying to a question, he said the Punjab government's performance was much better as compared to others and no chief minister could compete with performance of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
He said PML-N had never claimed for ideal situation or that all was well in the province.
Talal Chaudhry said the Punjab government had strictly implemented merit policy in the province and no body could prove irregularities in that regard, adding the merit policy was ensured during the recruitment in police department. The police was equipped with modern equipments and their salaries were also increased.
