LDA to recruit assistant directors

Lahore Develop-ment Authority (LDA) has issued offers for appointment to the 45 newly appointed assistant directors in various cadres of LDA. These posts include 16 vacancies of Assistant Director Town Planning, 13 slots of Assistant Director General Cadre, 12 posts of Assistant Director Civil Engineering, one position each in electrical engineering as well as mechanical engineering and two posts of Assistant Director Accounts.
These officers have been recruited in BS 17 on contract basis for a period of three years. All selected candidates have been directed to report to the LDA Director Administration within 15 days from the date of issuance of offer for appointment, otherwise it will be presumed that a candidate was not interested in joining LDA for this post and his/her appointment shall stand cancelled automatically without assigning any further notice.
Services of National Testing Service had been hired for ensuring transparency and merit in the recruitment procedure and candidates short-listed on the basis of educational qualification as well as the NTS test were called for interview. The 16 selected candidates of Town Planning Wing include Umair Bin Saad, Muhammad Umar Hanif, Shahbaz, Farhan Abbas, Naheed Batool, Sundus Sohail, Mujahid Hussain, Muhammad Haris Ali, Khadeja Sajid, Taimoor Ul Haq, Muhammad Ijaz, Ali Jamshed, Maha Shafique, Khizar Abbas, Sikander Haroon and Tooba Batool.
The 13 selected candidates for General Cadre of LDA are Ahmed Ali Babar, Muhammad Muthar Amin Hayat Watto, Ahmed Usman Javed, Usman Tariq, Qasim Ayub, Muhammad Muddasir, Hassan Bilal, Adil Raza Ahsan, Muhammad Asif Iqbal, Muhammad Furrukh Aslam, Basit Naseer, Muhammad Usman and Sarah Ahmad.
For the 12 posts of Civil Engineering include Mian Atif Hafeez, Zohaib Ahmad Malik, Shujaat Munir, Ali Husnain, Muhammad Haroon, Muhammad Akhter, Rashid Sattar, Muhammad Mohsin Attique, Furrakh Shahzad Zaheer, Adil Umer, Tahniyat Azhar and Anam Hussain Mirza.
Saad Bin Tariq has been selected against the only vacancy of Assistant director Mechanical Engineering while Ali Raza Khalid has been selected as Assistant Director Electrical Engineering. Wajahat Farhan and Syed Muhammad Omer have been selected as Assistant Director Accounts.
