An additional district and session judge on Friday adjourned the proceedings to February 15, in an application seeking registration of a case against former chief minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa for producing fake documents in court. The complainant said that Missal Khan was not the real father of his missing ex-wife Sapna Khan.
The counsel of Khosa contended that the matter is pending in the Lahore High Court hence court should await of the august court result. The counsel of Missal Khan said that the matter before the LHC is not related to application pending before the court. He also contended that the respondent Kosa also produce fake birth certificate before the police. He contended that the respondent by producing fake documents committed fraud and prayed to direct the respondent SHO registered a criminal case against respondent Dost Muhyammad Khosa. The court, however, adjourned the proceedings and directed the police to produce the case record and the document submitted by Kosa before the court on next date of hearing.
