A meeting of the Board of Governor's Cadet College Razmak North Waziristan Agency was held with the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar in the chair at Governor's House, here on Friday, which discussed in detail a number of matters relating to the smooth functioning of the institution and stressed the need to ensure congenial and secure atmosphere as well as quality education to the students.
The board after holding threadbare discussions in this regard decided to constitute a three-member committee, headed by the Director Education Fata to thoroughly look into all the related matters and suggest possible measures. It further decided to allow first entry in the enrolment of the college from eighth class instead of the prevailing practice of seventh class in this respect.
Talking on a point, the Governor was of the view that the tribesmen should realise their responsibilities to make this prestigious institution continue its functioning smoothly. The government, he added wanted to provide the students with an atmosphere free of any threat and insecurity and would ensure it at every cost.
He said that Cadet College Razmak was the first ever institution in FATA established by then prime minister Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to impart quality education to the students of Fata. "We wish to see it playing its pivotal role in the educational development of Fata", he added. The Governor said that the government was cognisant to the problems the institution was faced with and would take every possible step to ensure its smooth functioning.
