Met office on Thursday forecast more rain with snowfall over the hills in different parts of the country during the week. It said in its fresh weather advisory that another westerly wave was heading towards Pakistan and likely to enter Balochistan on Saturday evening/night.
"Under the influence of this weather system scattered rain with snowfall over the hills is expected over north-east Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan/Kashmir on Sunday/Monday," it said. More snowfall is also expected in Murree and Galliyat on Sunday/ Monday, it said, adding that the prevailing cold wave conditions in most parts of the country, particularly in Sindh are likely to subside during the weekend.
