Lady health workers not paid salaries

No salary is being paid to lady health workers of the National Health Programme and Health Department since last six months in Balochistan. Official sources confirmed to the media on Saturday that hundreds of lady health workers of National Health Programme and Health Department were deprived of their salaries since last six months, which had created a lot of problems for them.
"These lady health workers have been discharging their duties on adhoc basis since last 18 years," they said adding that now no attention was being paid from the relevant authorities to release salary to these LHWs.
