MONDAY JANUARY 30: POL prices: statement beyond minister's mandate: Prime Minister

KARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the statement of Minister of Petroleum about increase in petroleum prices was beyond his mandate, as the matter does not fall under the purview of his Ministry. The right to make any change in the oil prices rests with the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Gilani said while talking to media after returning from Davos here on Sunday.
