UHS declares BDS results

University of Health Sciences has announced the results of Third Professional BDS annual examination. A total of 459 candidates from as many as 10 affiliated dental colleges appeared in the examination out of which 304 passed and 153 failed. Result of two candidates was put on RL list. The pass percentage remained 66.52.
Moiza Ijaz D/O Ijaz Mehmood of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences Rawalpindi got first position securing 736/900 marks. Maira Mubashar D/O Mubashar Ahmad Qureshi of Lahore Medical & Dental College and Abeer Aziz D/O Malik Ishfaq Aziz of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences Rawalpindi got second and third positions securing 719/900 and 714/900 marks respectively.
The pass percentage of different dental colleges remains as follows: CMH Lahore Medical College Lahore 72.73 percent, de'Montmorency College of Dentistry 71.13 percent, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry Lahore 72.34 percent, Lahore Medical & Dental College Lahore 52.63 percent, Margalla Institute of Health Sciences Rawalpindi 67.31 percent, Multan Medical & Dental College Multan 77.78 percent, Nishtar Institute of Dentistry 66.13 percent, Dental Section, Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad 79.17 percent, Sharif Medical & Dental College Lahore 62 percent, University Medical & Dental College Faisalabad 40 percent, Institute of Dentistry, Supplementary exams will commence on March 13, a spokesman of UHS said.
