Member National Assembly of Pakistan Peoples Party from Jamshoro District, Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur has appealed teachers and employees of University of Sindh to end their protest campaign, start imparting knowledge and protect future of 15,000 students of the university.
He emphasised this while talking to office bearers and members of Sindh University Teachers Association and Sindh University Employees Welfare Association at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Hall of University of Sindh on Saturday. Though endorsing the demands of the university teachers and employees, he said negotiations are the only solution of addressing the issues.
He said that president, Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani have expressed their concern over the ongoing protest of teachers and employees of the university. Restoration of educational activities and maintenance of law and order in the education institutions are the prime objectives of government. He assured he will approach federal government to apprise of the grievances of university teachers and employees.
