Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce (HCC) faculty member Dr Mubbsher Munawar Khan's research titled "Conceptualising Consumer Animosity: In-Group Reactions to Out-Group Focused Endorsements" has been chosen by the editors of European Journal of Marketing, as Highly Commended Award Winner of the year 2011 "Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards" in category of Marketing Research.
PU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran congratulated Dr Mubbsher Munawar Khan on this achievement. While Ayesha Siddiqui, a PhD Scholar in Fine Arts (Studio Practice), at Punjab University College of Art & Design (PUCAD), has represented the PU and Pakistan in 4th Asian Art Expo held in Beijing, China, from January 5-8, 2012. Earlier, the curators of the grand international art exhibition had selected paintings of Ayesa Siddiqui.
It is worth mentioning here that Ayesha has the honour of representing Pakistan in 13th and 14th Asian Art Biennale (2008 and 2010, respectively) in Dhaka Bangladesh and also in 3rd Asian Art Expo in Beijing, China, last year. She has read papers in international conferences and published articles on the contemporary painting trends in Pakistan in various magazines and journals of repute. She has worked on a research project on Lahore Fort for Lok-Virsa Islamabad. She has ten solo shows of paintings and drawings to her credit and preparing for eleventh and also working on her book "Picture Wall of the Lahore Fort".
