Daily wagers, contract employees in KPT: Ghauri orders regularisation of services

Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Khan Ghauri on Friday announced to regularise all daily wagers and contract employees of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) immediately. "I ask Chairman KPT to confirm the services of all non-regular employees," he said while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of KPT's desalination plant at Manora Island here.
He also announced that educated and qualified youth of Manora, Baba and Bhit islands and other adjoining areas would be given priority during recruitment in KPT.
