Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Sindh Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two alleged target killers of one of the political parties and recovered weapons from their possession.
According to the details, a CID team headed by SSP Fayyaz Khan on a tip-off conducted raid at Rizvi Shaheed Road located in the jurisdiction of Nabi Bux police station and arrested two target killers namely Muhammad Aamir son of Fareeduddin and Muhammad Irfan alias Ladoo son of Abdul Karim after brief encounter and recovered one Kalashnikov, two TT pistols and several rounds from them.
SSP Fayyaz said the accused persons, who belonged to one of the political parties, confessed to have killed five political workers of different parties including former Nazim Muhammad Hanif, Kashif, Jaffar, Fareed and Saeed with the assistance of their accomplices at Risala police remits at different dates of January in 2011. Further investigation was under way.
