Hundreds of activists of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chagai district on Thursday took out a rally in support of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. The rally led by PPP Chagai district president Mir Habib was taken out from PPP Dalbandin office and after marching on city roads culminated outside Dalbandin press club.
The participants of the rally had held banners inscribed with slogans in favour of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. They also raised slogans pressing their demand for allowing democratic set-up to smoothly flourish. Addressing the rally, PPP Chagai district leaders including Mir Habib, Haji Abdul Samad, Abdul Ghaffar Bangalzai and Abdul Sattar Muhammad Hasni said that conflict between state institutions was not in favour of democracy. They added that they had reposed trust in the leadership of President Zardari and PM Gilani.
