Barley Sindh, Mardan prices up on grain market

Barley Sindh and Mardan prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Monday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side barley Sindh and Mardan were quoted higher at Rs 3450-3500, makai low type maintained overnight level at Rs 2100 while the best type gained Rs 100 to Rs 2250, other items maintained weekend levels, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 30 to Rs 3020 and better type also followed the same pattern, losing Rs 50 to Rs 3100, other items retained weekend levels, they said. On the seeds counter rapeseed Nawabshah was quoted at Rs 2625-2650 and Cakes low type did not show any change at Rs 870 and better type inched up by Rs 50 to Rs 880, they said.
