The country''s foreign reserves have posted an increase of $148 million during the last week. The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $16.917 billion as on December 30, 2011 as compared with $16.769 billion a week earlier. Reserves held by central bank have mounted up by $71 million to $12.877 billion end of last week. Net foreign reserves held by banks (other than SBP) stood $4.039 billion with an increase of $77 million.
