Lacklustre conditions persisted on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday due to less interest among the retailers, dealers said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 3000 and best type was up by Rs 30 to Rs 3100 amid slow trading, dealers said.
On the cereals side gur low type shed Rs 200 to Rs 4600, fine type, however, gained the same amount to Rs 5200, other items retained the overnight levels, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type retained overnight level at Rs 700 while best quality rose by Rs 25 to Rs 825, they said. Prices did not show any change on the grams sector, they added.
