Slow activity observed on grain market

Slow business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Tuesday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side barley Sindh and Mardan were quoted at Rs 3350, other commodity items maintained the overnight levels, they said.
On the seed counter cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type retained overnight level at Rs 700 and best quality dropped Rs 50 to Rs 800 on expectations of better-than-expected production for the current year, castorseed Lasbela and Sindh shed Rs 50 to Rs 2200 and Rs 2050, they said. Prices did not show any change on the grams and rice sectors they said.
