Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial leader and former MNA, Nawabzada Khawaja Mohammad Khan Hoti has asked the rulers to resign following the prevailing messy situation in the country, saying government has failed to address key issues during the last four years of its tenure.
He said that ANP's 'drawing room politics' couldn't change the destiny of the nation. He challenged ANP rulers to confront him in the upcoming general elections. He was speaking at a press conference during the joining of activist of PPP-Sherpao, Mohammad Amir Khan Khalil Mulazai in PTI along-with other workers, here at Peshawar Press Club on Monday.
He said that rulers are betraying the masses through various tactics, but are not taking any proactive step to solve their problems. He said that the situation is going from bad to worse with each passing day in the country, because of poor and weak policies of the present government. He further said that the soaring prices of essential commodities, and rising power and gas tariff, and hike in petroleum products has broken the back of poor people.
He observed that national institutions are on the verge of collapse owing to growing corruption and mal-administration. Unemployment, price hike, and lawlessness are at their peak level in the country, he said and added that rulers are busy in gaining their vested interests and have left the poor masses on the mercy of others.
Hoti claimed that PTI will rule the country and corrupt rulers will be unable to face them in next elections. The PTI, he added, will bring positive and constructive change to pull the country from the prevailing situation, and rid the poor masses of the present rulers. Concluding, he said government has completely failed to deliver to the poor masses and 'roti, kapra and makan', and 'akpal khara akpal akhtiar' are mere slogans, but did nothing on ground.
