It touched the intra-day high of 8,315.52 points and low of 8,137.91 points and closed at 8,299.33 points with a net positive change of 35.52 points, or 0.43 percent higher than previous close.
The volume was 28,230,178 shares, which was 85.11 percent of KSE All share volume and 96.34 percent of KSE-100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 33,167,404 shares and KSE-100 volume was 29,301,396 shares. BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 2,172.50 with a net positive change of 11.86 points or percentage change of 0.55 and turnover of 5,472,025 shares.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 265.99 with a net negative change of -4.51 points or percentage change of -1.67 and turnover of 1,380,761 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,611.43 with a net negative change of -25.74 points or percentage change of -0.98 and turnover of 1,209,038 shares.
BR Cement Index closed at 581.17 with a net negative change of -2 points or percentage change of -0.34 and turnover of 652,081 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,554.71 with a net negative change of -2.38 points or percentage change of -0.15 and turnover of 390,299 shares.
