Foreign office advised to keep Kashmir issue at forefront

Parliamentary Kashmir Committee met here on Thursday with Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman in the chair. Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and other senior officers of the Foreign Office gave an update on the Kashmir issue. The committee was briefed about the discussions at the recent meetings with India. CBMs like trade across the Line of Control as well as movement of the Kashmiris between AJK and the Occupied Kashmir were discussed.
The committee advised the Foreign Office to keep the Kashmir issue at the forefront, because it is the core issue and Pakistan can't afford to put it at the backburner.-PR
