Under 10 students on trips: LHC moved to restrain schools

A bar member has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) praying to restrain all the schools from taking under 10 students out of city for trips. The petitioner Azhar Saddique submitted that the incident at Kallar Kahar had caused deaths of more than 37 citizens majority of them were children.
He said private schools are minting money from parents of the students for taking them for trips. He, therefore, prayed to the court to issue strict directions to the concerned officials of Education Department Punjab to issue instructions in this regard to the schools.
