Pak-China joint anti-terrorist military exercises concluded at Mangla, here on Thursday. Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and Chinese Deputy Army Chief General Hou Shushen attended the concluding ceremony of the exercises conducted by special forces of both the countries. Speaking on the occasion‚ General Kayani expressed the hope that these exercises would help overcome terrorism.
He said this event would go a long way in further strengthening bilateral relations between the two armies. He said China was their close and all weather friend, and hoped that these exercises would open new chapter of co-operation between the two countries. Chinese Deputy Army Chief General Hou Shushen said both the armies exchanged their professional expertise with each other in these exercises which would help root out terrorism in an organised manner.
