It is a matter of great pleasure to learn that the Institution of Engineers, Pakistan is holding its 44th Annual Convention from 23rd - 24th November, 2011 at Lahore. The International Seminar on "Energy Problems in South Asian Countries - Causes & Solutions" is also being organized along with the convention. Currently, this is one of the critically important topics for Pakistan.
The Institution has been rendering strenuous efforts since long to deal with such subjects in the past as well, and has been making notable advances and providing opportunities to the engineers to keep themselves abreast with the latest technological advancement & developments in various fields of engineering. I hope the Institution, as in the past, will formulate useful recommendations for consideration of the policy-makers at the government level. I wish the 44 Annual Convention and International Seminar of the Institution of Engineers, Pakistan all the success.
