No more forced load shedding will take place in the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) region ahead, said Sharafat Sial, Chief Executive of the company. Talking to Business Recorder, Sharafat said he would guarantee end of forced load shedding irrespective of the fact that there is schedule load shedding or not in the region.
"I have dreamt of making Lesco a model disco in near future," said the Chief Executive of Lesco. He said up-gradation of existing system, a stable power supply and hot pursuit of defaulters was his top priority agenda of Chief Executive Lesco. Sharafat made the point that up-gradation of Kahna Grid Station at Ferozepur Road, Sarfraznagar Grid Station at Multan Road, Kala Shah Kaku at G T Road and Bhikki Grid Station at Sheikhupura Road is already in place within 45 days of his assuming office as CE Lesco.
It may be noted that the textile industry, situation on all these grid stations, has paid glowing tributes to the new CE Lesco for expeditious resolution of problems on these grids. All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) Executive Committee has already offered him standing ovation on his visit to Aptma along with MD Pepco Rasul Khan Mehsud.
