Offices of defunct CDGK re-designated

Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Muhammad Hussain Syed on Saturday notified the Schedule of Establishment (SoE) of KMC consequent upon Revival of the Sindh Local Government Ordinance 1979 (Repeal of Sindh Local Government Ordinance, 2001) and consequently revival of the KMC.
Under the SoE, the Finance & Planning Group of Offices of defunct CDGK will serve as Finance & Account Department of the KMC. Works & Services Group of offices have been re-designated as Engineering Department. Parks & Horticulture Department as Parks & Horticulture Department of KMC. Municipal Services Group of Offices as Health Department of KMC. Health Group of Offices as Medical Services Department of KMC. Law Group of Offices as Law Department of KMC. Human Resource Management Department as Human Resource Management Department of KMC and Media Management Department as Media Management Department of the KMC. The posts of head of the departments/group of offices have also been re-designated.
The Executive District Officer (EDO) Finance & Planning Group of Offices of defunct CDGK has been re-designated as Financial Advisor KMC, EDO Works & Services Group as Director General Technical Services of KMC, Director General Parks & Horticulture Department as Director General, Parks & Horticulture Department of KMC, EDO Municipal Services Group as Director Health Department of KMC, EDO Health Group as Director Medical Services Department of KMC, EDO Law Group as Legal Advisor of KMC, Executive Director Human Resource Management Department as Director Human Resource Management Department KMC and Director Media Management Department as Director Media Management Department of KMC.
