The Met Office forecast on Saturday that mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in the next 24 hours. However, light rain/thunderstorm may occur at a few places of Gilgit-Baltistan and adjoining hilly areas, it said, adding, "A shallow trough of westerly wave is affecting northern area".
No rain has fallen in the last 12 hours, the office says, adding that there is no severe weather either in the next coming hours in the country. "Weather remained dry in most parts of country," it says. It says Karachi's weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the next 24 hours with maximum temperature ranging between 32 degree centigrade and 34 degree centigrade.
